Three decades
of lechon

From a single lechonero to the name Argao calls for a fiesta.

A Montejo family business

Where it began

One family,
one charcoal pit

Our story traces back to 1994, when Artemio “Temyong” Montejo began his journey as a lechonero. After years of hard work and dedication, he and his wife Perlita “Perly” Montejo officially started their own lechon business in 2014, serving classic favourites like lechon and dinuguan.

As the years passed, a new idea came from the next generation — their daughter, then a Senior High School ABM student, suggested adding food trays to the menu. That modern twist breathed new life into the business, and in 2022 it proudly became Montejo's Lechon & Food Trays — a blend of tradition, family, and fresh ideas.
